I. Call to order and welcome.
II. Approval of November 5, 2018 meeting minutes, motion and vote
III. 6633 West Hollywood Boulevard: ZA -2018- 3366 -ZV –CUB: The Escape Hotel has applied to the City’s Planning Department for a conditional use permit. The original application was for the Escape Room to sell alcoholic beverages for on -site consumption in connection with (i) a restaurant, and (ii) The Escape Hotel’s “escape rooms”. The site has approximately 10,500 square feet, and the restaurant was authorized to have 113 seats back in 2008, but is now requesting 146 seats. The proposed hours of operation would be until midnight on Sundays through Wednesdays, and to 2 a.m. on Thursdays through Saturdays. (The Escape Hotel is an entertainment space, rather than an actual hotel.) Since presenting in November, the applicants have met with the LAPD and will be presenting the recommended conditions that came from that meeting. Possible motion and vote.
IV. Hollywood Community Plan Update 2 Planning, Zoning and Draft EIR: The Draft Environmental Impact Report was released on November 15, 2015 for a 75 day review. Area 3, Area 4, Transportation, Environment, and Parks and Open Space committees all reviewed Planning and Zoning portions of the HCPU2 in Fall of 2017. Subsequent to the recommendations to the Board, a CIS letter was sent from HHWNC to Planning. There is now a Franklin Corridor study being proposed. The newly released DEIR was discussed at HHWNC’s PLUM meeting on January 6. Possible Motion and Vote

The quorum for the Hollywood Hills West Neighborhood Council committees is five (5). The public is requested to fill out a “Speaker Card” to address the Committee(s) on any item of the agenda prior to the Board taking action on an item. Public comments on agenda items will be heard when the item is considered. Comments from the public on non-agenda and agenda items are heard during the Public Comment Period and, within the discretion of the presiding officer of the Committee(s), when the respective item is being considered. Comments from the public on other matters not appearing on the Agenda that is within the Committee’s subject matter jurisdiction will be heard during the Public Comment period. Public comment is limited to 2 minutes per speaker unless waived by the presiding officer of the Committee(s).
