Whiskey Hotel, previously known as Dark-Red Hotel, to be built at 1717 Wilcox will be presented. The applicant has applied to the City’s Planning Department for permission to demolish an existing structure and construct a 134 room hotel with a 2,500 square foot ground floor restaurant, a rooftop bar, three rooftop terraces, 104 parking spaces and 60,693 square feet. Applicant has requested Planning department to change the zoning to accomplish for outdoor use. The floor to area ratio would be 2.94 to 1. Side yards would be eliminated on North and South side of property.
Obtain Parking Permit District 64 signs for South of Franklin, North of Hollywood, West of Highland and East of Cahuenga will also be discussed.
