3. Update on current Neighborhood Council Affairs.

4. Open discussion regarding complaint about landlord at Orange Towers attempting to rid himself of long-standing tenants because their units are rent-controlled. Possible motion and vote.

5. Public comment and any new business for next month’s agenda.

6. Adjournment.

Draft Minutes for the August 8, 2006 Meeting

Location: Yamashiro Restaurant, Conference Room.

1. A quorum being present, the meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

2. The minutes for the June 6 meeting were approved by unanimous voice vote.

3. An update was given on issues from the most recent HHWNC board meeting.

4. The agenda item concerning the landlord/tenant situation at Orange Towers was tabled because none of the concerned parties came to the meeting.

5. As there was no public comment and no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
