DRAFT MINUTES
6:45 PM, MEETING IS CALLED TO ORDER
1)
Mathew Hayden, representative for Gardner Junction presented an update.
The applicant presented a revised plan for the property some parts of which were ok with the group that was in attendance and some requests which had mixed opinions. People mainly were ok with the place if it opened no earlier than 10AM for weekend brunch and if it closed Sunday – Thurs at 11pm and Fri & Sat at midnight. Where there was not a consensus was regarding whether or not we thought it was a good idea for them to be able to serve a full line of Alcohol as opposed to just Beer & Wine. The majority of the group was in support of just Beer and Wine.
There were concerns from the neighbors in regards to congestion and not being able to turn on to Gardner Street from Sunset Blvd. during hours the restaurant is open as well as how were going to handle deliveries from their suppliers. There was also concerns that the Fire Department may have difficulty exiting the fire house.
