The Business Development, Planning and Support Committee represents the entire Neighborhood Council area, but focuses on issues of interest between the business and resident stakeholders in the area including the following: encouraging business improvement districts, continued redevelopment of the commercial core, business expansion, employee/employer parking problems, zoning regulations, and liquor license issues. The committee will encourage presentations of major commercial projects and expansions within its boundaries. The main geographic areas of interest are the Hollywood Boulevard core from Cahuenga West to Fairfax, and the Universal City/Forest Lawn commercial core.

Thor Lee, a native of Southern California, is a senior sales associate with Ramsey- Shilling Commercial Real Estate. He focuses on the Hollywood and West Hollywood markets and is active in leasing office, retail and production properties. He works extensively with both owners of commercial real estate and prospective tenants anxious to locate in the Hollywood and West Hollywood areas.

Mr. Lee graduated from California State University Northridge with a degree in Health Sciences. At CSUN he captained the Men's Soccer Team to the National Championship Finals and was a two time All-American selection.

Following his very successful college soccer career, Mr. Lee spent the next eleven years playing professional soccer for the Los Angeles Lazers (Major Indoor Soccer League), the Los Angeles Salsa (National Professional Soccer League) and D.C. United (Major League Soccer) among others. While playing professionally, Mr. Lee also spent considerable time coaching youth soccer and preparing for his eventual move into commercial real estate.
